Camp Ilium 2004
Come to Camp Ilium this summer and.........Stick Your Neck Out!
Meet our newest staff member for camp this summer.  Terry Pin, the turtle, will teach us how to stick our necks out as Christians in a non-Christian world.  This year the emphasis is on Christian maturity and the Church in the world.

We will be learning about people from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and "Acts 29" (modern times) to see how they have stuck their necks out in obedience to God.

"Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."   Joshua 1:9

2004 Summer Camp Offerings

High School Camp: June 27 - July 3 (Entering 9th - 12 grade)
This year's High School Camp promises to be even better than last year.  High School students have more mature expectations for camp, which we intend to answer with more mature challenges.  Come with old friends, prepared to make new friends in worship, learning and play in this beautiful mountain setting.

Confirmation Camp: July 4 - July 10 (ages 15 - 18)
Confirmation Camp is a new idea for this diocese, but not a new idea in Christian Camping.  This is an age when kids are looking - even experimenting - in spiritual curiosities.  What better time to help them to walk in the way of true religion - to help them make powerful, personal, spiritual commitments in their life with Christ Jesus.

7th and 8th Grade Camp: July 11 - July 17
This group of campers with middle-school experience is ready to accept higher spiritual as well as physical challenges and opportunities.  Look forward to seeing old friends and making new friends in a fun packed week.

5th and 6th Grade Camp: July 18 - July 24
Enjoy play, worship, study, and exploration with new friends in God's great outdoors!  A great age with great imaginations and open to higher level concepts than the younger elementary campers, makes a super time to establish a trust relationship with our Lord Jesus.

2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade Camp: August 1 - August 7
This week promises to be a gentle, but active, fun-filled camping experience for first and second-time campers.  Camp Ilium is a great place to learn about Jesus and make new friends in a loving Christian community.
