| From Denver by way of Grand Junction: Take Interstate 70 West to Grand Junction. Go South on U.S. 50 to Montrose. Continue South on U.S. 550 to Ridgway, then turn right onto Colorado Hwy 62, and drive twenty two miles to Placerville. Turn left at Placerville towards Telluride on Colorado Hwy 145. Go ten miles to Ilium Road and turn right. Drive two miles to Camp Ilium on your right. From Colorado springs: Take US 24 West to Antero Junction. Take US 285 South to U.S. 50 just North of Poncha Springs. Proceed West on U.S. 50, over Monarch Pass, through Gunnison to Montrose. Turn left and go South on U.S. 550 to Ridgway. Turn right on Colorado Hwy. 62 and drive twenty two miles to Placerville. Turn left at Placerville, towards Telluride, on Colorado Hwy 145. Go ten miles to Ilium Road and turn right. Drive two miles to Camp Ilium on your right. From Durango: Take U.S. 160 West to Mancos. Turn right onto Colorado Hwy. 184 towards Dolores. Turn right onto Colorado Hwy. 145 to Ophir. Turn left at Ophir at "Illium Access" sign. Follow this road approximately 6 1/2 miles to Camp Ilium on your left. From Cortez: Take Colorado Hwy. 145 to Ophir. Turn left at Ophir on County Road 625 at "Illium Access" sign. Follow this road approximately 6 1/2 miles to Camp Ilium on your left. |
